Please, don't listen to that guy! Chrysler didn't build the Town & Country with wood paneling because of steel shortages following World War II. The wood, both structural and decorative, was purely a styling device.

These partially hand-built cars represented the best motoring had to offer, and remain universal status symbols to this day.
